WSP is looking for a Project Change Manager to join our Project Controls team.
Your Impact
Job Duties:
Work under the direction of the Project Controls Manager to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of change orders and project financial reporting.
Develop and implement effective change order procedures to track project changes, analyze cost variances, and identify potential impacts.
Attend a variety of project meetings with project stakeholders to track and solve change management issues.
Maintain change order reports for individual project subtasks, and provide roll-up reports as requested.
Manage change order processes and evaluations to assess the impact of proposed changes on project costs and schedules.
Assist in development of change order estimates, budgets, forecasts, estimates to complete, and cost trends.
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field is required.
Minimum 10 years’ experience working in construction industry involving large-scale projects, preferably in the New York City area. Minimum 5 years of experience working in project controls and change management. Transit/rail industry is a plus.
The candidate must have the ability to work in a hybrid-type environment and must be a self-starter. Should be able to come to client office in downtown Manhattan 3-4 days per week.
Experience with multiple stakeholder/funding sources is required. Experience with NY MTA is a plus.
Proficiency in cost control/change management methods and application.
Ability to interface with clients and participate in business development initiatives.
Expert ability with Microsoft Office Suite primarily Excel.
Excellent communication skills, written, oral and interpersonal skills to deal with a high-pressure environment.
Candidates with advanced degrees or professional certifications and accreditations in Engineering, Construction Management and related fields are preferred.
This position is subject to and contingent upon client approval of candidates put forth for consideration by WSP.

Expected Salary: $152,190-198,220
