Since 1997 Truckstar has been an independent, family-owned and operated, heavy-duty collision repair shop helping to get our customers' vehicles back on the road. Our newly expanded facility boasts 38,750 square feet of space - half of which is the paint shop! We take pride in providing a fun and fulfilling environment for our employees!
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable
- Positive attitude
- Automotive or truck painting experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to read and understand work orders
- Provide your own tools
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Spraying high-solids Axalta single stage and base-clear topcoats
- Painting panels, blends, completes and loose parts
- Priming and blocking
- Tinting colors to match and doing spray outs
- Directing preppers on jobs to achieve quality finish
- Buffing and polishing
- Masking and prepping
- Performing light body work
- Disassembling and assembling some vehicle components
- Operating Shop Tools & Equipment
- Moving vehicles and parts and setting up for paint
- Implement quality control standards and ensure each repair is completed with the highest level of quality
