Job Title : MRI Technologist

Location : Waco, TX

Shift : 12-Hour Days, 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours)

Shift Times : 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hourly Rate : $33.00 - $48.00 per hour

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing high-quality MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. The MRI Technologist will work three 12-hour shifts per week, ensuring patient comfort and safety while capturing accurate diagnostic images. Key Responsibilities :

• Perform MRI procedures in a timely and efficient manner, following established exam protocols
• Use effective communication skills to explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort
• Prepare patients for MRI exams, ensuring correct positioning and the use of appropriate safety measures
• Follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from exposure to radiation and other hazards
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and work areas
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
• Keep accurate medical imaging records and manage patient information according to department policies
• Participate in on-call duties if required

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent (H.S. Diploma/GED)
• Less than 1 year of experience in MRI technology
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) or Radiography (ARRT-R), or certification by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
