Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Temple, TX

Shift: 8 HR Days (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Shifts Per Week: 5

Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $33 - $48 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (for external candidates)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves performing high-quality MRI procedures in an academic hospital setting, with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols in a timely manner.
• Communicate with patients and their families regarding the procedures, ensuring their understanding and comfort.
• Properly position patients, prepare the imaging area, and adjust equipment settings to capture optimal images.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of MRI equipment and the imaging area, reporting any issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with department policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the medical team and assist with the care of patients during imaging procedures.
• Provide education and training to new staff and assist with the implementation of new services and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Less than 1 year of experience required.
• ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
• ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
