Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner.

Position Information: Full-Time Position, 19.00-20.00 hourly rate.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Ensure freshness and quality of all station items
  • Prepare various meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using diverse cooking methods
  • Comply with standard portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen policies
  • Maintain sufficient stock levels for smooth service
  • Assist with food prep during off-peak periods as needed
  • Ensure timely and high-quality food output
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and properly handle, store, and rotate products
  • Keep reach-in and walk-in coolers clean and organized
  • Conduct oneself professionally and maintain good working relationships
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report unsafe conditions
  • Comply with all policies in the Employee Handbook

Requirements:

  • One year of culinary experience preferred
  • Relevant government licenses or certificates
  • Knowledge of food preparation, materials, and equipment
  • Self-starter with ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Capacity to multitask and work under pressure
  • Professional appearance
