A&B Mechanical Contractors, Inc has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Plumber with commercial experience! We are seeking an individual who has residential experience as well, but this position will be focused primarily on commercial and has potential for a leadership role. Join our diversified services company offering commercial and residential Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical services.

Qualifications:

• Team player who is highly motivated with a positive attitude
• Confident and responsible working independently as well as in a group setting
• Proficiency with plumbing installations as it pertains to common residential, commercial, and/or industrial practices.
• Knowledge of State and local Plumbing Codes with the ability to make on-the-job applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing drawings.
• Ability to layout underground sanitary and storm piping.
• Ability to fully understand and implement all job safety requirements.
• Physical demands include the ability to safely lift 50 pounds or more.
• Good attendance, punctuality, accountability, and performance.
• HVAC experience helpful.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equal

Requirements:

• (4) years actively working in the plumbing trade
• Journeyman license required
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
