The Opportunity
Fiddler’s RevOps team is looking for a Deal Desk Analyst (Part Time, Contract, Remote) to focus on the closure of custom and standard commercial deals. This includes supporting enterprise deal lifecycles for large and strategic opportunities. You will be responsible for deal lifecycle management and supporting cross-organizational alignment. This role requires a strong project management background to enable the candidate to drive large, complex, enterprise deals to closure in tandem with the Sales and RevOps teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience with SaaS products, enterprise sales, and a background in supporting selling motions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, project management, and organizational skills, as well as a propensity to proactively build knowledge bases and systems to accelerate deal velocity.
What You’ll Do
Work directly with the Sales, RevOps, DevOps, and Field AI teams, as well as prospective customers, to accelerate the contracting and procurement process
Understand the business and technical requirements of our customers and partners, advising sales teams on the best approach (balancing risk between custom terms and internal limitations)
Work cross-functionally to develop mechanisms for deal management (sales intake, approval matrixes, systems of record, contracting mechanisms, billing enablement, new commercial constructs, compliance matrixes, artifact storage, etc.)
Remove internal blockers between cross-functional teams such as Sales, DevOps, Operations, Product, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Field AI, etc. in the pursuit of deal closure
Work with our legal experts to effectively redline and negotiate various sales-related contracts
Support the sales cycle to ensure the deal terms align with Fiddler’s goals, the strategic vision is met, and closes as forecasted
Support complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial and legal agreements.
Quickly build credibility and trust with internal stakeholders.
Provide strong support, communication, and persuasion skills including cross-functional teams and senior leaders
What we are looking for
BA/BS degree
2+ years of experience in one of the following functions: deal management, procurement, sourcing, pricing strategy, consulting, or legal
Experience working in ambiguous, quickly scaling environments, comfortable with high-agency
Strong communication, organizational, analysis, and project management skills.
Nice to Have
MBA and/or Law Degree
Experience working in a compliance-focused role
Experience working at startups
Experience working in Saas
Experience supporting Enterprise Segment Focused Sales Teams
Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
Compensation
This is a part-time, remote contract role with the potential to convert to a full time W2 role in the future. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a growing AI Startup. Pay range for San Francisco is $50/hr - $70/hr.
