RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead your team to close the financials accurately each month for 3 stores with support team. Prepare and submit required statements and reports. Manage accounting operations with supporting outside automotive accounting partner- Withum. Review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable / receivables, and financial reporting Ensure accounting operations are in accordance with GAAP regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies and procedures Partner with the General Manager to review and continually improve the monthly/yearly financial results Assist in setting budgeting and forecasting Manage and consistently train all levels of accounting staff Strong communications and organizational skills High level of accuracy and analytical ability Actively manage expense structure and vendors Direct preparation of the daily, weekly, and monthly reports required by the management team

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years’ Controller experience in the auto industry with exposure to work in various office operations, including A/R,A/P, management, Payroll, HR Leadership and experience with a time-efficient office environment Proficiency in MS Excel Technologically savvy DealerTrack DMS experience a plus! Accounting Degree or equivalent professional experience This position is ideal for someone who is:
